The only aboriginal woman to be officially honoured with a Commemorative Memorial Sculpture in Australia

Her Stance: Our commemorative sculpture in honour of Fanny Balbuk-Yooreel is in the grounds of Government House. She is especially positioned looking towards the site of Old Government House which was built over her grandmother's grave.
